For grants of more than
$2,000
Potential grantees should contact the Center through writing a brief
letter to the Director of Programs, sent at least two weeks in advance
of the full proposal deadline. That letter, though not a formal application,
should include a summary and brief description of the proposed project
and how it furthers the goals and objectives of the Schwartz Center,
an estimate of funds required, and the approximate duration of the
project.
If the initial letter is favorably reviewed, the Center will request
a full proposal as outlined in the application. Proposals are reviewed
by the Schwartz Center Programming Committee, which makes recommendations
to the Schwartz Center Board of Directors.
For full proposals potential grantees should submit only one copy.
Please do not submit binders or folders. Use paper clips instead of
staples.
Printable Grant Application
For grants of $2,000 or less
For grants of $2,000 or less, it is not necessary to complete the
grant application. Instead, potential grantees should send a two-page
letter to the Director of Programs including:
|
a description of the project
and how it meets the Schwartz Center goals; |
|
an explanation of how the project
will be evaluated both during and at the end of the project
and how other organizations will learn about its success; and
|
|
an itemized budget. |
The Director of Programs will contact you if more information is needed.
