Reaching More Caregivers$1.9 Million

Our Schwartz Rounds™ program has been adopted by hundreds of healthcare organizations, and we have an ambitious plan to have an even broader impact.

A Powerful Antidote

First launched in 1997 at Massachusetts General Hospital, the Schwartz Rounds program offers clinicians a powerful antidote to stress and burnout: each other.

Designed by and for front-line practitioners, this program brings caregivers from different disciplines together on a regular basis to discuss the complex emotional and social issues they face in caring for patients.

Meeting The Demand

In the past four years, the number of Schwartz Rounds sites has doubled as the need for this critical program has grown. This program is now held in hospitals, outpatient practices, nursing homes, home care agencies and health plans.

Yet we are meeting only a fraction of the demand. Your support will enable us to nearly double the number of Schwartz Rounds sites to 475 healthcare organizations throughout the U.S. by the end of 2015.

Supporting our Vision

We envision a healthcare system in which all patients receive compassionate care and all caregivers are supported by their organizations to provide it.
