The Schwartz Center has launched an exciting new initiative with CarePages.com, one of the ten largest health care related websites on the Internet.
CarePages.com allows patients and families to create their own web pages to facilitate communication with loved ones during an illness. The site is regularly visited by 2.5 million people and receives more than 30 million page views per month. The new partnership between CarePages and the Schwartz Center complements the Schwartz Center’s mission to advance compassionate health care.
The Schwartz Center has created its own CarePage called “Compassionate Connections.” This online community provides a forum for patients, families and caregivers to tell their stories about compassionate caregiving. The page also includes an interactive blog called “Bedside Manner,” hosted by Executive Director Julie Rosen and a link to the Schwartz Center website, which will soon be enhanced with additional resources for patients and families. We invite you to visit the Schwartz Center page at: www.carepages.com/compassionateconnections and hope you will share your story and join the conversation.
