Schwartz Center funding enables
physicians, nurses, social workers and other clinicians to participate
in a clinical pastoral education (CPE) program at the Massachusetts
General Hospital in Boston and Yale-New Haven Medical Center in
New Haven, CT. Caregivers learn to provide spiritual care for
patients and families — skills they then share with colleagues
in the clinical setting. More than 50 clinicians have completed
the program to date.
