To learn more about starting Rounds at your organization, please review
the information on our website, watch the video described below and contact Marjorie
Stanzler, Director of Programs, at 617-726-0914, who will explain the steps you need to take in order to start the Rounds. Institutions can not start the Rounds without permission from the Schwartz Center.
Schwartz Center Rounds is a multidisciplinary
forum where caregivers discuss difficult emotional and social issues
that arise in caring for patients. Over 27,000 clinicians across the
country participate in these interactive discussions and share their
experiences, thoughts and feelings on different topics. Schwartz Center
Rounds take place at
142 sites in 27 states.
For a glimpse of moving and powerful Rounds discussions that took
place at the Massachusetts General Hospital Cancer Center and at Emerson
Hospital in Concord, MA, please view the Schwartz Center's ten-minute
video, ‘‘Voice of Caregivers: Schwartz Center Rounds.’’
