Schwartz Center Rounds

To learn more about starting Rounds at your organization, please review the information on our website, watch the video described below and contact Pamela Mann, Associate Director of Programs, at (617)724-9145 or Marjorie Stanzler, Senior Director of Programs, at (617) 726-0914 who will explain the steps you need to take in order to start the Rounds. Institutions can not start the Rounds without permission from the Schwartz Center.

Schwartz Center Rounds is a multidisciplinary forum where caregivers discuss difficult emotional and social issues that arise in caring for patients. Over 37,000 clinicians across the country participate in these interactive discussions and share their experiences, thoughts and feelings on different topics. Schwartz Center Rounds take place at 186 sites in 30 states.

The Schwartz Center hired Goodman Research Group to conduct a comprehensive quantitative and qualitative evaluation of the Rounds. The Rounds have many benefits including improving communication among caregivers and between caregivers and patients. For a summary of the results, click here.
