Schwartz Rounds Facilitation Workshop

During this session we will:

  • Explore the neuroscience basis for compassion and why compassionate care is good not just for patients and families, but for caregivers too
  • Participate in a Schwartz Rounds session led Schwartz Center CMO and expert facilitator Beth Lown, MD
  • Further develop the ability to recognize and model the qualities and skills of a successful Schwartz Rounds facilitator
  • Share and co-construct solutions to common Schwartz Rounds challenges
  • Connect with compassion leaders from across the Schwartz Center member community

Who should attend:

  • Seasoned Schwartz Rounds Facilitators, Physician/Clinical Leaders, and Program Coordinators who would like to reflect on their program’s strengths and challenges and advance their facilitation practice.

Please note:

  • Free of charge for up to two participants from each Schwartz Center healthcare member; $295 for each additional participant
  • Breakfast, lunch and networking time included
  • Eligible for CME/CEU
  • The day’s Schwartz Rounds session will be recorded for training purposes; participation in this portion of the workshop is optional.

Due to high demand and the format of our workshops, this event will be capped at the first 70 registered participants. Online registration will close on October 1, 2019.
