Barbara Hernandez, PhD, LMFT, RN is Director of Physician Vitality and Professor of Medical Education at Loma Linda University School of Medicine. She is a Clinical Diplomate of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy, and has directed five university counseling offices, maintained a private psychotherapy practice, and worked as a professor in mental health graduate programs since 1995.  Her publication and research interests pertain to ambiguous loss, physician well-being, and spirituality.
