Christine Alessandro holds a Master’s Degree from NYU and is a New York State Licensed Creative Arts Therapist for over 20 years. As a psychotherapist, she has experience working with adults and children who have a variety of mental illnesses. In 2012, she became a reiki practitioner, and in 2018, a Reiki Master. Her work consists of using various holistic and psychotherapeutic interventions to meet the needs of her client. Presently, at Northwell Health/North Shore University Hospital, as the Manager of the Patient & Family Centered Care Department, Christine uses holistic and psychotherapeutic interventions to facilitate communication and provide emotional support to patients, their families, and staff throughout the hospital.
