Phoebe Long received her PhD in Educational Psychology from the University of Texas at Austin in May, 2019. Currently, she works as the research coordinator for the Center for Resiliency at Dell Children’s Medical Center, where she evaluates the impact of self-compassion interventions on healthcare workers’ well-being. Her research and writing on self-compassion can be read in the peer-reviewed journals Self and Identity and Learning and Individual Differences and the online magazine Greater Good.
